As the years pass, farmers are using more and more pesticides to keep our fruits and vegetables fresh and unsullied from wildlife. As people have grown to learn of the harms of pesticides, they have steadily pushed for more organic foods. According to the Environmental Working Group's (EWG) 2015 Shopper's Guide to Pesticides in Produce, these are the 12 most contaminated fruits and vegetables you should ALWAYS buy organic:

1. Apples

2. Peaches

3. Nectarines

4. Celery

5. Potatoes

6. Cherry Tomatoes

 7. Snap Peas

8. Spinach

9. Cucumbers

10. Strawberries

 11. Grapes

 12. Sweet Bell Peppers

Note: Hot Pepper & Kale/Collard Green pesticide levels are also high enough to be included in this list.
